>>| So far I’m not to impressed as the last 2 posts basically showed nothing in Google links at all, Well as of today that is starting to change… |<<

Links to my sites : 443
Links waiting for my approval : 0
My links waiting for approval : 1,193

There is the stats so far for both sites Runfatcat.com and Lynxme.com After Reviewing both sites stats in Google webmaster I have found…

Runfatcat.com shows 11 Links from a gotlinks.com page

and Lynxme.com shows 6 links from a gotlinks.com page.

This is not vary impressive but it is more then I seen in the past and so i will hold my breath a bit longer if the record of search engines past performance (VARY SLOW) tells me anything, it tells me that this may turn out to be not that bad of a site, Although I have lost links overall that may be due to the down time from switching hosts and sites going off the web.

So in summery so far it looks like this site may end up being a use-full tool in our forever none ending search for the best way to get links for free, If it is combined with submission to search engines and submissions to directory’s as well as a good amount of quality content we might have something here.

ATM this site is Running at 40% of its traffic coming from Search engine traffic, that’s way better then any of my other sites preform I’ll give ya that.

I Hope the Guys over at BruceClay.com don’t mind me Quoting them, but i was looking for a good source and seem to have found one.

It is not enough to simply add Meta tags and do search engine submission of your site to a million search engine indexes and directories. The first placement tip in obtaining significant Web traffic counts is to seek first-page search engine results. An early step is to build a great content-rich site. One of the last steps is the proper submission of your great site to the search engines or directories. In the middle is a step that is VITAL if you want to obtain front-page results. Most site owners bypass this step because they forget about it or think it is too complex, but without competent search engine optimization Web site services you are destined to become search engine fodder.

Have a Look at this Site, seems like a real Creditable source of Info…

http://www.sitesubmiturl.com/

Found a Really cool site that was submitted to http://www.runfatcat.com/ yesterday, and I thought i would pass it on to everyone else. Its a Farly simple site that allows you to submit your website to hundreds of search engines in a mater of just a few seconds as you watch its progress. This can be found on there index page at… http://www.sitesubmiturl.com/

They also offer the same type of ping service for blogs that pings hundreds of blog sites to tell them you have new content and like the search engine submit this also allows you to watch the progress. This Feature can be found at http://www.sitesubmiturl.com/ping-site/

Also they have a Farly in depth E-Book that gives a lot of great info and lays out the basics, I think you should if nothing else at least skim over it as a refresher, it dose have a few links back to there main site and also has some affiliate links to a few different Hosts, but this dose not ruin the experience to badly.

Here is a summery of what is included in the E-Book…

Title Tag
Link popularity
The main body text
Domain name
Keyword prominence
Heading tags
Proximity of keywords
Bold or italic
Folder or filename
Meta description & Meta keywords
Top Social BookMarking Sites
Best Web Hosting Company

The E-Book can be found here… http://www.sitesubmiturl.com/tools-and-tips-for-search-engine-optimization-seo.php

There is also a few links acrost the bottem of the site that may intrest you as well particularly the Best SEO Tools

Not a Bad Little site and one that would recommend  for bookmarking.

www.GotLinks.com

Search Engine Position, Link Popularity, and Traffic in 3 Easy Steps

(PLEASE NOTE: As always you can click the pictures to see it full size if you like)

OK so its been two days and here’s an update so far I’ve gained a few links on Google webmaster up from 900 something to 1009 I’m Hoping when they do the next update it will show a better view of the link-backs gained so far, I’m rather antsy but i know it takes time to show.  As you can see here The Last update was on the 14th of the last post so shouldn’t be long tell its updated maybe tonight or tomorrow some time.

In this View you can see the links to my site is up from 53 to now 152 and the links awaiting approval is up from 213 to 477, you must remember that I have added another site to the mix http://www.lynxme.com/ my Free Webmaster Resource Directory as will be shown below.

Here you can see the List of both sites and there default Title and Descriptions, One cool thing I have found is Highlighted “Who’s Linking to me?” This is great because as you see to the Left it just shows both sites links globed together and this will help you see witch sites have how many links. One thing to remember you see the (Upgrade) link… Well in a way it would be good that you don’t upgrade as the Limit of 75 Requests a day is a good limit so you don’t go and request links from all the sites in a short time time frame, I have heard that if you get a lot of links to fast that Google will think that your Buying links, and they don’t like that at all, so in a way the Daily limit of 75 Requests is a Good thing.

Here I have Clicked on the “Who’s Linking to me?” for Lynxme.com and it shows the list of who all has links to your site and as highlighted at the top how many sites there are in the list. I Just added Lynxme.com Yesterday I think it was and is a day behind Runfatcat.com as is evident here.

Here you can see the List of http://www.Runfatcat.com/ a Free Website Directory.  As you can see its ahead of lynxme by about 52 links, the page goes down quit a ways.

As stated in the last blog I’m vary vary impressed with the Experience so far of the free service that they are providing and if you have not got your free account yet you should get it now. Any comments on the Progress are vary welcome.  I will update in the next day or two.

I Hope this blog has (or will) help(ed) someone For now I’m out to go over my list of sites i have to check and then maybe play some Counterstrike and or Ruse beta before getting to bed as i work the overnight shift.
